Wamala Growers Cooperative Union is a Cooperative registered under the Cooperative Act of Uganda with 168 Primary Growers Cooperative Societies. The Union deals in production and marketing of mainly Coffee and Maize. The also undertakes capacity building of the Primary Growers Primary Societies through its Cooperative Extension programmes to ensure good farm practices, post harvest handling and enables access to quality inputs for better yields and quality safe food. The Unions does value addition through coffee processing factory and Maize milling.
