TWIS Ltd Empowering children one story at a time

TWIS is the first-ever digital tool to offer age-appropriate and culturally relevant stories in Kinyarwanda for primary school students, equip them with relevant literacy skills, and allow teachers to walk alongside them on the lifelong journey of learning. We are on a mission to solve the issue of limited Kinyarwanda proficiency among children by offering stories tailored to the reading level and preferences of every child; involving both the parents and teachers in the process, and in the process grow a reading culture in them. The platform is a repository of high-quality stories by local authors, sold to educational institutions on a subscription model. Our highly interactive and friendly application recommends resources to students according to students’ level of reading, preference, and age. We provide for students to take quizzes to assess their comprehension and allow teachers to track their progress and hence be able to help them accordingly.
