Spice Carriage Pvt Ltd (Lactoboost) Science-led functional nutrition for mother & baby

A Chemical Engineer turned founder, I started Lactoboost as a Lactation Cookie company following my own struggles with breastfeeding my first daughter. I started the business in September of 2020, with a 6 month old baby in tow.

6 years later, we now run our own small scale manufacturing facility selling at 35+ retail locations including the largest maternity hospital in Sri Lanka. Our focus is now to increase our offering to support mother and baby throughout the journey of motherhood starting from pregnancy to toddlerhood.

Our products are being created for the phases, Pregnancy, Lactation, Weaning and Toddlerhood, identifying and addressing specific gaps in the marketplace, using natural wholesome ingredients with zero preservatives, chemical additives or artificial fortification, achieving required nutritional profiles through rigorous R&D and product testing.
