LA COMANDANTA is a high impact company dedicated to identifying, rescuing and promoting authentic Mexican Creole and ancestral foods, made by low-scale producers, under the most traditional methods of our territory. Our interest is to be a bridge between the traditional (forgotten) market and the modern market of the big cities, providing all the value that these foods and producers deserve to protect our native seeds and keep our food culture alive, in order for more and more urban Mexicans to value them, pay a fair price for them and help them, to their preservation and to improve the quality of life of the producers at the same time of improving our food and taking care of our Mexican land.
