This product target pregnant and breastfeeding women and children above 6 months. It has come to cover the nutrition gape which has become a big problem in the Sub Saharan Africa countries where there are an increase in infants mortality and children are being stunted (more than 2.7mil children under 5 years in Tanzania) due to poor nutrition.
Our research observed that many people (Low and middle income earners) are not aware of the nutrition categories for instance carbohydrates, protein, fats, vitamins, minerals etc. Especially when it comes to the issue of balancing them all in one meal. Sometimes even if they are aware of that, can not always afford purchasing in categories so they end up eating unbalanced meal which is affordable to them.
