Bringo fresh starts in Uganda, at a food market filled with fruits and vegetables that were poorly handled and in filthy conditions. It got our founder thinking about why customers were paying high prices for poor quality produce and what happens to all the fresh produce that doesn’t reach the markets. He was shocked to find out that it got wasted. Over 60% of fresh produce in Uganda is wasted before leaving the farm. This results into scarcity and increasing food prices.
Bringo Fresh is a two way business model (B2C, B2B) that sources fresh quality produce from farmers and delivers it to clients wherever they are, in quick time. Our fresh produce is organised in carefully selected boxes to ease shopping. Clients can add items of their choice to the box or can create their own boxes. We have specific delivery days in a week (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday & Sunday), to allow us plan client’s orders and avoid wastage.
