To help nurture companies during their most fragile stage, Setup a Startup provides a support process that accelerates the successful development of startup and fledgeling companies by providing entrepreneurs with an array of targeted resources and services.

Setup A Startup (SAS) is an economic development organization that aims to develop, enable, connect and promote entrepreneurs in Africa. Our entrepreneurship enablement programme helps create & sustain jobs in the community and spur economic growth throughout Africa.

This goal is accomplished by helping new and struggling early-stage businesses grow to the point where they need to hire employees in order to continue operating and growing.

We facilitate in the scouting of startups for corporates, startup competitions, and innovation-centric media to accomplish these goals. Powered by Caban Investment Ltd, SAS helps strengthen startups’ competitiveness, grow global champions, scale, and raising capital and create opportunities for startups globally.

SAS plays a key role in building a dynamic and sustainable startup ecosystem in Africa. We have licensed and successfully launched the Global Startup Awards in Southern Africa in 2018 that got over 3200 participants from 15 SADC Countries and aim to launch in 4 more regions in Africa (North, East, West and Central) in the coming years.
