Announcing the 8 startups selected to pitch at Nigerian Economic Summit #23

We are proud to announce the eight selected ventures that have been selected by a team of investor experts to pitch at Nigerian Economic Summit #23 Startups Pitching Event. The selected start-ups will each have 5 minutes to pitch to prospective investors and 10 minutes to answer questions from them. The event will connect these startups with investors as well as grant them access to mentorship and professional advisory services.

We had a total of 263 completed applications via the VC4A platform, and we have completed the grueling task of reviewing applications submitted by a highly qualified pool of startups. Applicants with outstanding business cases applied from different parts of Nigeria for just 8 spaces.

      About the 23rd Nigerian Economic Summit

      On October 10 – 12, 2017, the NESG will host the 23rd Nigerian Economic Summit with the theme “Opportunities, Productivity & Employment: Actualizing the Economic Recovery and Growth Plan”. This year’s Summit would seek to explore how best to map economic opportunities, establish a reviewed national agenda and outline national job deficits with a view to unlock capital flow that creates job opportunities. In addition, the Summit would host its first ever Startup pitching event which would provide a platform for businesses to pitch ideas and access funding from venture capitalists and investors.
