What is IDEA START?

Idea Start seeks to drive innovative solutions that respond to the challenges to healthcare and reproductive rights we face in Latin America

WHO WILL BENEFIT?

We want to support and strengthen 24 companies and organizations with sustainable business models and with the potential to impact on the health and reproductive rights of millions of women and men through innovative products and services.

Are we looking for talent across the region. Therefore, proposals from Mexico, Central America and South America will be able to participate in differentiated calls.

The selected proposals will access:

    • Mentoring and strengthening enterprise alongside people who are experts in social innovation and entrepreneurship​
      • Connections with other companies and organizations in the region to boost your impact​
      • Ability to present your business model to social impact investment fundsduring the 3rd edition of the IDEA Forum, Latin American Forum on Creativity, Innovation and New Media for Reproductive Rights in Latin America, to be held virtually in April 2021​
        • in the 2021 IDEA Awards Contest, which awards 3 seed funds of US$ 15,000 for the three winning solutions (*). All companies and organizations with a focus on health and reproductive rights are invited to apply. To apply, it is a requirement to complete the online form of the regional call according to your country of residence: Template idea start-06.png

        (*) Those companies and organizations that are already receiving support from Planned Parenthood Global can access the mentorship and enterprise strengthening program, but they cannot attend the IDEA Awards 2021.
