twitterfacebook

The African Innovation /Foundation is a new model of ‘next generation’ African foundations, mobilizing innovation across the continent for the personal, cultural and economic benefit of all Africans. Our projects are aimed at releasing untapped potential in Africa, stimulating African ideas & perspectives within emerging industries and across diverse disciplines.

Founded in 2009 by Jean-Claude Bastos de Morais, our mission conforms perfectly to the spirit of the young, progressively-minded, aspiring African societies, and addresses the new national pride of the African nations. “Africa for Africa” is the creed of this generation, one to which AIF fully subscribes.

The Innovation Prize for Africa provides $150, 000 total to winners who develop African solutions for African-led development. The Prize recognizes innovative breakthroughs that unlock african potential
