Wazo Jema is a youth led business involved in the dairy value chain. Wazo Jema (which means “a good idea”) is a registered youth group that started in February 2016 but started engaging in the dairy project in 2019 with the aim of improving the living standards of the members and the community at large.
The business was established to answer the problem of Lack of market for farmers raw cow milk, need for nutritious and affordable dairy products to the low income eaners and lack of employment opportunities for youth and women. The advantage is the trust and willingness of farmers to grow with us as their home grown market for their cow milk.
