WAVU is a tech-enabled aquaculture marketplace and logistics platform that improves access to inputs and markets for fish farmers. We aggregate demand and supply across the aquaculture value chain, enabling farmers to source quality inputs such as feed, fingerlings, and equipment, while also supporting market access for harvested fish.

Aquaculture in Africa is constrained by fragmented supply chains, inconsistent input quality, and limited market linkages, leading to high costs, production losses, and low farmer profitability. WAVU addresses this by coordinating procurement, distribution, and order management through a digitally supported, asset-light model that works within existing farmer networks.

We generate revenue through commissions on inputs and fish sales, supported by logistics coordination and partner networks. WAVU has served over 1,500 farmers, facilitated the movement of several tonnes of fish, and generated early revenues while operating lean and capital-efficient
