Our community currently faces a Waste crisis, plagued by the massive increase in population & economic activity in Lagos. With the rapid growth & urbanization of Lagos there is a huge lapse in infrastructure in waste sorting & collection, illegal dumping and overflowing landfills.
At Watowe we are committed to driving change in recycling and climate action, we have introduced the following initiatives to achieve this: Eco-champions, insured by waste, shore savers, trash for cash, environmental service providers (ESP), and the waste to wealth Alliance.
Our business model includes: the sale of recyclables, ESG & CSR consultations, educational programs, etc.
As a self-funded company, we have had to adapt to every position we find ourselves, we begun Watowe from trading in PET bottles and other recyclables to consulting for other recycling companies. We launched the factory at Ajah January 2024 & we have partnered with notable companies like Moniepoint, Glovo, Ch
