Trusted Food Stores is specializing in reducing food wastage faced by the famers/ market vendors, hunger , poverty and risks to certain cancer and heart diseases by the use of technology through innovation a mobile app that links producers (farmers/ market vendors) to consumers (individual homes) and as well promotes selling and buying of goods. We as well will be buying of the unsold food due to either being damaged or small in size and then sell it to consumers at half price and as well organize awareness campaigns (anti food waste) so as to reduce food wastage. To address the challenge of hunger, we are to implement these programs food banking, feeding programs, lunch box, emergency relief programs where Retailers, manufacturers, wholesalers, farmers and market vendors partner with us to recover their edible surplus food and distribute it to vulnerable groups, Ugandans affected in times of crisis, poor schools, elderly, children and disabled and to address poverty.
