Things4rent is a peer-2-peer rental marketplace that promotes reusability, community interaction and income generation through proximity based rental services.

Majority of homes in Africa have a lot of stuffs they hardly use once purchased. These items are only put to use occasionally despite the high price tags that were attached. This practice leads to wastage and results in cases where storage facilities at home are filled with rarely used items that could be better utilized.

This is where Things4rent comes in. Our aim is to build a robust platform that helps owners of rental items easily list their items and thus make it easy for those in need of these items to rent them. The item owner gets paid each time an item is rented and the item renter also enjoys the convenience of meeting all their rental needs in one place, mostly within his/her vicinity.
