Tantex PLC Enhance the livelyhood of smallholder farmer through livestock

Ethiopia has more than 100 million livestock population and livestock contribute 60-70% livelihood the population, 18% of the GDP, 30-35% agricultural GDP, 38% rural house hold income, 14% agricultural export and 23% nitrogen to soil fertility.  Eventhough with large number of livestock population, 85% livestock feed meet the animal maintainance requirement and only 15% for production. By making crop residue base, quality, accessable,affordable feed and by developing intensive R&D with stakeholder , we want to enhance the livelyhood of smallholder farmer especially in dry season.
