SBIPHA Biopharma is a Kenya-registered, Africa-led biopharmaceutical startup building a venom-based peptide discovery and biologics platform from Africa to the world. We are starting with ethical scorpion venom extraction, venom research, and future antivenom and therapeutic innovation, with a long-term vision of transforming underutilized biological systems into medicines, diagnostics, vaccines, and pharmaceutical solutions. SBIPHA sits at the intersection of biotechnology, pharmaceutical innovation, public health, biodiversity, and climate-resilient livelihoods. Our model combines scientific research, controlled venom sourcing, laboratory development, data, partnerships, and future product commercialization. We are currently at startup stage in Kenya, developing the foundation for extraction labs, scientific partnerships, training, research systems, and future biopharmaceutical products. SBIPHA has strong potential because Africa carries a major burden of venom-related health risks.
