The company is into the research and development of agrobased raw materials to add value to these raw materials. The current task of this company is on the pilot-scale production and marketing of shelf-stable ready-to-drink (RTD) Zobo Juice produced from Hibiscus flowers. This project will help to solve the core problem of rapid spoilage of RTD Zobo Juice currently marketed by most cottage producers in Nigeria. The introduction of shelf-stable sachet-packed RTD Zobo Juice into the Nigerian market will certainly open up new possibilities that will help the company grow even more. As it is a unique and new product, it will attract and excite consumers, thereby helping the company to compete better in the market. Companies in Nigeria that produce sachet-packed beverages presently do not produce sachet-packed Zobo drinks. Hence this company will be the first to produce this product. Thus, competition for this brand will be minimal.
