We are into yam farming. We are currently cultivating 10,000 ridges for yam, after which we intend to harvest the yam, and process it for different food products like yam flour, poundo yam, yam flakes, and other food products we can derive from yam with different tastes to suite food hygiene quality, safety and security in the interest of public health, economic productivity, job opportunities and smart food production.
We hope to realize more than USD 30,000 from this which is as a result of our current capacity in terms of finances, technology and manpower. But with support from your establishment we can expand our project areas and cultivate about 100,000 ridges for yam farming which in turn can generate about 1 million USD annually.
Effective training and capacity building with relevant innovative programs on different yam food varieties will further enhance our financial projections and employment opportunities.
