Sinba is a socioenvironmental enterprise and Certified B Corp, whose purpose is to work for a world #SinBasura (without waste), where nothing is left over, and no one is left out. The Sinba Cycle provides a service for companies and homes to manage their waste responsibly, and Sinba is responsible for entering them into circular economy systems, converting discarded food and organic by-products into animal feed and compost, in addition to recovering recyclable materials (plastic, cardboard, bottles, metals) in collaboration with formal recyclers. In this way, it manages to reduce waste and associated carbon emissions by up to 90%. We are the first company in Peru to provide an integral solution to waste that includes valorization of both organic and inorganic waste flows. In terms of CO2 impact, there are two aspects to consider: 1) By diverting this waste form landfill we are avoiding CO2 and methane emissions and 2) providing low carbon raw materials to local industries.
