Savour’IYAM Production of 100% local frozen yam and sweet potato French fries

Savour’IYAM is a Beninese food company that transforms yams and sweet potatoes into ready-to-cook frozen French fries. The idea was born out of a personal need: living with a handicap in my arm, I found it difficult to prepare yams and couldn’t find any practical, quality local solution. Today, Savour’IYAM meets a growing need for practical food products, while valorizing local tubers and reducing post-harvest losses. Between January and May 2026, we have already sold over 300 bags and generated sales of 471,000 FCFA. Our ambition is to build a benchmark African brand in frozen tuber-based products, create economic opportunities for local producers and empower women through employment and entrepreneurship.
