Sabana Blues SAS Blueberry growing and marketing in Colombia (export)

Sabana Blues is a Blueberry growing company family business, and specializes in premium Blueberry varieties breeded by Mountain Blue Orchard in Australia. We bought the exclusive licence for Colombia to grow and market this variety and became part of their global program with access to the most premium markets in the world. Our people is the core of our business and at least 60% of the workers are woman, in harvest we increase our workforce at least x5 per hectare planted.
Our main purpose is to keep growing and plant at least 100 hectares in Colombia (actual: 5.3 ha) and be able to create a great team of people and export 90% of our production to US, EU and Asia. This year has been our first harvest (50 tons) and export to the US, of course the learning curve has been challenging, but with our people we have accomplished each milestone. We want to keep learning, and head to the right direction with professional mentoring.
