Research Beeline provides online databases of funding grants and calls from funders globally eligible for application by African researchers and institutions. Research, despite its importance to economic development is heavily underfunded in Africa receiving less than 0.5% of GDP against a world’s average of 1.68%. Consequently the number of researchers per 1 Million inhabitants remain very low. In response, we have developed digital solution that allows researchers based in Africa to easily identify funding opportunities for their projects and to ensure no researchers including those in their early career are left behind, we have gone for institutional subscription model whereby with one institutional subscription, all affiliated researchers get access.
