Pwani Hydrotech Youth Group committed and enthusiastic social entrepreneurs focused on the Aquaponic farm (lettuce, spinach, fish, cucumber) & Kienyeji chicken (for egg,meat and chicks production).These products provide a improved nutritional value to the population. The project was set up with the aim of creation of jobs, economic development, women, youths and persons with disability, empowerment and poverty alleviation. It features key stakeholders such as the youth and women, members and workers of the project, customers, suppliers and thee project specializes in the production and sale of vegetables and poultry products. Chicks are produced at our hatchery and hence bird production is a profitable activity. We grow short term vegetables like Lettuce and cucumbers. These activity have the potential to provide regular income and employment opportunities.By providing quality products at a fair price we encourage many to eat veg’s, white meat and eggs thus reducing malnutrition.
