Palma Organic Farm is a climate smart agribusiness training and demonstration farm, focusing on building the resilience and adaptation capacity of rural farmers.
We test and introduce crop and livestock breeds that are adaptive to the climate change effects, and enables the rural farmers to access inputs.
We go extra mile in ensuring the farmer gets the market for her produce.
We make our money through input loans, commission on sale of harvest and training fees.
We also earn profits from our own harvest from the demo farms.
We are led by a Board of Advisors made up of professionals in the agribusiness sector, climate action, marketing and financial management.
The project team is made up of enthusiastic university graduates who are up to improve the community welfare.
We are currently fundraising for $2.5 million investment that will enhance our capacity to enter the income bracket of $3.5million to $5million per year.
