Chipata is the fastest growing city in Zambia and in urban areas people can’t cook anything without adding oil this makes the demand for cooking oil to very high. The existing they are failing to meet the demand. Am volunteering in a cooperative that does the processing of sunflower cooking oil, last year it managed to buy 50,000 kgs of sunflower and all finished before the harvest time. This shows the potentiality of the chosen project.
