Olosida was registered as a company in July 2020 in Trasmara Narok Kenya. It breeds Sahiwal cattle, Dorper sheep and Boer goat. Olosida operates on 50 plus acres of land which 40 acres in on rotational grazing while the other 10acres is under the Juncan and Pakchong high biomass and crude protein content Napier grass. These are rapid growth and reproductive animals that are drought tolerant and yield more than other animals even in hash conditions.
Olosida aims to lead the transformation of livestock farming through innovative practices. By focusing on sustainability, the firm sets a new standard for environmentally conscious agriculture in Kenya.
By converting bagasse, the waste result of sugar cane production, into inexpensive, valuable feed, it is the lowest-cost provider of cow feed. With a feed known as Lishe Kamili Feed, which serves as a substitute for hay for feeding dairy and beef cattle, as well as goats and sheep.
