Food insecurity has become a major issue in Kenya and East Africa, that is why Nikola Energy is developing solutions that promote high yield growth of vegetables without the need for excessive space and water.
Our solution will be different from competitors in the Hydroponic space as it offers automation (meaning reduced input from out target clients hence ease of use), reduced costs, and the capacity to grow your vegetables in your own balcony (reduced space demands). Our prices are up to 40% lower than market because we source all building material locally and have insourced labor as much as possible.

Currently we have iterations of our hydroponics designs in Nairobi and Meru counties valued at a total of $2,000, and we are continuously working on improving these designs to make them all the more efficient and cheaper to run.
