One of the problems in Nigeria is the feminization of poverty; thereby leading to a disproportionate gap in the income of women when compared to men in Africa. An underlying cause of this is the fact that women are viewed as inferior to men and women are restricted from upskilling and educating themselves. Nibi Foundation is on a mission to solve this problem by helping underprivileged women in underserved communities with skill acquisition, educational resources, mentorship and career placement opportunities.
