Team Neema Urban Roots Ltd was founded by Vanessa Angalo, a Swiss finance professional and ACCA member with over 10 years of international experience in finance, corporate reporting and sustainability. She is relocating to Nairobi to launch Neema and combine her financial expertise with a strong commitment to women’s economic empowerment. The pilot will be delivered in collaboration with experienced local partners specializing in urban agriculture and entrepreneurship training. As the business grows, the team will expand to include local staff and technical specialists.
