BACKGROUND
Blouberg FM was incorporated in 2019 as non – profit organization. It is a Community Radio Station based in Senwabarwana at Capricorn TVET College; its broadcast will cover an area of over 54.49km covering a population of more than 14 081.
Blouberg FM aims to promote social interrelation in Senwabarwana and surrounding communities by facilitating a dialogue between different sections of the community, which includes Community Members, Civil Society, Government Institutions, and the local business Community. Our Mission is to become the central voice of Community Development in all the communities within the Blouberg Municipality. The station is currently broadcasting from Capricorn TVET College Senwabarwana Campus. Since we are a newly formed community radio station, we need funding to turn one of the classrooms provided to us into an operational office space. We also need funds to buy outside broadcasting equipment and other essentials.
