Manq’a is a social restaurant that celebrates national products. We work with young chefs trained in the schools of Manq’a de El Alto and Sucre. We are the business bet of a social project that forms around 700 young people, in a situation of vulnerability, as cooks who revalue the agro-food identity of Bolivia and promote healthy eating in their family and their environment. Manq’a has 13 Cuisine Schools and the gastronomic training is linked to mechanisms of work insertion and entrepreneurship. 90% of the staff who work in the restaurant are graduated from the Manq’a Schools, so we are a space of work practice that strengthens the learning of the training provided. All profits generated through the restaurant are reinvested in the social project.
Per year we serve around 23000 dishes; over 100 corporate clients; We create 30 indirect jobs; We have 45 linked producers.
