Malafimmina ETS Malafimmina è chidda ca parra! (Malafimmina is the one who speaks)

Malafimmina is a feminist and meridionalist association based in Sicily. It is a community in self-education, a place of meeting and exchange that promotes gender and sexual orientation equality as well as the socialization of knowledge, experiences and analysis related to the socio-economic gap between Northern and Southern Italy from a feminist and decolonial perspective.
As southern subjectivities, we recognize that feminism alone is not sufficient to fully understand our lives, the oppressions and resistance with which we measure ourselves daily.
We are soutionalists who embrace a transnational and decolonial vision of the South, sensitive to intersections with other contemporary political struggles and to the value of knowledge from the Global South.
