Local Chows core business is to provide low-cost flexible workspaces which will be used as commissary kitchens for food vendors, venue hires for various events and also provide e-commerce platforms to drive sales for vendors.
In 2020 we piloted the e-commerce part of the business, where we offered digital stores for various vendors and complemented the service with food delivery. This pilot proved that there are many food vendors but lack the structure to support their growth. We have since founded a community of chefs and caterers who do not have facilities, however work from their spaces at home.
Our kitchens will provide food vendors with well equipped facilities, with all the necessary e-commerce required to support their growth.
The kitchens will have dinning areas for onsite consumption, this facility will also be used for various events. The advantage is that all events will be catered by food vendors onsite which provides them with broad opportunities.
