The current situation of the health environment shows that health professionals lose 40% of time accessing patient medical information and may need to restart exploration procedures, which increases health costs by 20 – 40 % for the patient, but also increases the hospital mortality rate in hospitals by a 10 %.

Through a Universal Medical-ID attached to a QR-code, Kea aims to interconnect hospitals and different medical stakeholders through a single database in order to manage the whole patient medical information and therefore increase doctors efficiency.
