Kabondo Persons WITH Disabilities SELF HELP GROUP Revolving Savings and Loaning Scheme, using m-pesa Digital remittances

Members of Registered Self Help Group do Savings and receive Loans, using M-PESA Digital Money Transfer operated by SAFARICOM mobile company, linking members, who must own Safaricom SIM CARDS, to the Group Bank Account.

All payments are forwarded and loans received through The Group Administrator’s mobile SIM Card which is the authorized link to Group Bank Account using a SECRET CODE. SMS Messages verify transactions.

M-PESA is a feature of Safaricom SIM Card using Unstructured Supplementary Service Data (USSD), providing mobile financial services on phones at low cost.

WhatsApp Group is formed for members as a VIRTUAL PLATFORM to receive and send Group messages regarding Savings and Loaning, hence REPLACING GROUP PHYSICAL MEETINGS. WhatsApp Business API is used to connect members to customers.

The Venture reduces information and transaction costs, improves service delivery, creates new jobs, generates new revenue streams, and helps conserve resources. It needs SEED C
