I started farming mushrooms in Bujumbura city when most of people could not understand how and why to eat fresh mushrooms. Small by small I taught people the importance of mushrooms in our body and how to cook fresh mushrooms. I finally build a market for fresh mushrooms. My innovations in this field helped people to afford this healthy food. I designed simple mushroom house in order to reduce costs of production, I searched for unexpansive substrates and made grinders of the different straws in order to reduce the costs of production and have a permanent production along the whole year. All these innovations enabled us to set an affordable price for many people and the availability of mushrooms along the whole year.
