The JemiEats founders met in Southampton, UK a decade ago. They went to university in the same city and always kept in touch over the years, discussing possible ventures. Over the years, Joy went to work in hedge funds in the city of London doing roles such as Equity research analyst and Quantitative analyst, whilst Pelumi worked in medical labs and did music management on the side.
