We are a group of 10 graduates from the field of Agriculture and Science, based in Namibia. We are currently undertaking a special hands on training in precision agriculture to enhance our practical skills in horticultural production under arid environments. These skills are critical in complementing our academic background. We are a team of 8 females and 2 males, calling ourselves the Innovative Green Hands, and we are looking into developing investable business ideas in the field of horticulture. With these ideas, we wish to take Namibia forward in becoming food self-sufficient in terms of horticultural production, drive agriculture as a job creator and play a role in seeing the country achieving its National Development Plan 5 targets as well as addressing several Sustainable Development Goals. In the next 5 years, Innovative Green Hands wishes to be a leading player in using innovation in horticultural production in Namibia and to become a leader in creating jobs in agriculture.
