Hatchman’s Cheeses is a Barbadian artisanal cheese manufacturing company serving both the on-premise sectors through restaurants and hospitality distributors and the off-premise or retail market through supermarkets, gourmet shops and farmer’s markets. Grounded in family tradition with the craft being passed down across three generations and a rich history across all modalities of the agricultural industry, we are driven by a desire to transform the dairy industry in particular in Barbados from a mono crop existence to a diversified sector providing high quality value-added products. In doing so we support dairy farmers who have been under siege from falling fresh milk consumption and pervasive price reductions, as well as offering sustainable high quality employment to the youth.
