In Cameroon, the quantity of seeds of gourd of the species « Cucumeropsis Mannii naudin » is estimated at about 747000 tons each year in the markets. Only 18% of these seeds are sold as « shelled seeds, which means “ready to eat”. The scarcity of “shelled seeds” which results in a high price (250g costs 500fcfa=0.86293USD) is explained by the fact that, generally speaking, shelling is still done manually everywhere in Cameroon because of a lack of alternative means available. Retailers are the most concerned because to obtain this 18%, they usually use a small stick to strike at the edges of each seed stabilized vertically on a support such as a stool in sitting position which is particularly long and painful. The use of a possible alternative means to increase the productivity of manual shelling and reduce its painfulness, is a need clearly expressed by retailers, but they demand that this means should Maintain the good shelling quality of manual shelling while minimizing losses Secteurs Machines agricoles Emplacement Cameroun Etape Se connecter pour afficher les détails Marchés Se connecter pour afficher les détails Modèle client Se connecter pour afficher les détails Recettes Se connecter pour afficher les détails Contact Se connecter pour afficher les détails Les médias sociaux
