Groital Company Limited formerly is an agribusiness focused on the cultivation and processing of fruits for the local and European Markets. Particular attention is given to the processing of pineapples and mangoes into healthy dried fruit snacks.
About 35-40% of all pineapples cultivated in Sub-Saharan Africa, never gets consumed, resulting in huge post harvest losses, while driving farmers deeper into debts. We have taken the initiative to help reduce these losses, by processing of fruits which are esthetically not considered for retail shelves, thus increasing revenue to farmers.
As farmers ourselves we understand the pain of post harvest losses, and this is one of the key reasons we invested in processing.
