We address issues of access to farm input, knowledge, agricultural land, access to finance and market faced by women smallholder farmers (SHFs) engaged in maize and soya cultivation in the northern regions of Ghana. The challenge goes beyond these barriers, rather, how are these marginalized women SHFs are able to maximize, optimize and efficiently use the resource at their disposal to attain higher productivity and improved wellbeing. Our sustainable approach to these challenges is the WeSolve Program. With WeSolve Program, we deploy an integrated and sustainable farm growth system to support women smallholder farmers that ensures yield improvement through outgrower schemes, input credit, coaching, market and digital farmer services delivered at the community levels. Our strategy may not entirely be new but our model of targeting ‘’marginalized and those considered risky’’ within the agricultural space and bundling essential services critical for yield improvement is our niche.
