We are in the business of producing palm oil and palm kernel oil. One of the major reasons for choosing this business is the problem of under production of palm oil and palm kernel oil in Nigeria. Reports from the world bank and the Central Bank of Nigeria has it that Nigeria consumes about 1.34 million metric tonnes of palm oil annually while production volume stands at 1.015 million mt. This implies that demand exceeds supply by over 25%. Consequently, this has resulted in Nigeria spending over US$500 million annually, in the importation of palm oil. Some of the reasons for this low production is due to the use of crude machinery and outdated farming practices by small-scale farm holders who account for over 80% of local production.
Our solution is the use of automated machinery for more efficient, faster and larger scale production. Which will help preserve the quality of palm oil produced. This is supported by the use of high yield seedlings for a higher volume production.
