Gesco Group Ltd is building the digital commerce infrastructure for The Gambia by digitizing transportation, commerce, accommodation booking, and merchant payments. Our first initiative is Gesco Ferry e-Ticketing, a platform designed to digitize ferry ticket sales for one of the country’s most important transport systems. Ferry operations generate approximately 40 million Gambian Dalasi in monthly ticket revenue, yet transactions are still largely manual and cash-based. By introducing digital ticketing and payment systems, Gesco improves transparency, reduces operational inefficiencies, and makes travel more convenient for passengers.
