Fundación Medicina Familiar Venezuela Promoting Family Medicine in Venezuela

For 40 years the Venezuelan Family Medicine Foundation has developed a work promoting Family Medicine as Medical Speciality and Primary Medical Care as a strategy to solve the demands of health services of the population, attached to the best scientific practices, seeking a cost that is sustainable for society.
Our financing model has been to offer health services to private companies to their workers and to the families of their workers. These companies benefit from having these services at a lower cost and the Foundation for its part with the surpluses it obtains from these sales finances the activities to achieve its objectives.
