My name is Ayomide Elegbede, i am a Co-founder in an Agritech startup called Fostaco. Fostaco is into Agro equipment (tractor) hiring and Agro commodity trading such as paddy rice, cassava, soya beans and maize.
Nigeria has 5.7million registered farmers with only 7000 functional tractors, we need additional 63,000 tractors to close the supply and demand gap.
We are currently developing a digital application platform where farmers, Agro-processors and Agro-allied manufacturers can connect one another to transact business online.
Our product name is called FARMCHIP, Farmchip is an online market place for all Agricultural activities where products and services can be carried out.
