In Africa, more than 75% of households use septic tanks. When these structures are full, they must be emptied and transported by emptying trucks. Currently, users encounter two major difficulties, the lack of information on the level of filling of these pits, and the difficulty of finding a truck to empty my pit with waiting times of more than one day. We have set up level sensors by text message which alert the customer when the pit is full and a widelma application which makes it possible to geolocate the nearest emptying truck.
We earn money by selling the sensors but also the emptying trucks pay a monthly subscription on our widelma application.
