FOROBA wants to create an edible forest of 2.5ha in the Touba Couta zone to meet the demand for fruits and vegetables from the hotels of Sine Saloum and its population. It intends to participate such a hummingbird in food self-sufficiency in the area once the field and the unit of transformation installed with sub-projects as recovery of organic waste through households and women, create an economic model that directly benefits women by creating income and participation and boosts their health and ecological training. Another sub-project in the transformation to fight against the decay of seasonal products create added value and export these finished products would be a means of interested young people in the trade of the agro-food and the different processes of the value chain.
