Ejido Verde is a regenerative, Mexican, sustainable pine resin supplier positioned to become a lead supplier to the USD $10B global pine chemicals industry. Ejido Verde uses its unique reforestation model to restore degraded lands by establishing commercial agroforestry plantations to harvest pine resin. Since 2009, we have established 4,590 hectares of commercial agroforestry plantations toward our goal of restoring 12,000 hectares of degraded lands with native resin-producing pine trees; building resilience currently together with 743 family farms located on rural and Indigenous communally owned land. In 2021 alone, we created 1,174 jobs. In 2020, Ejido Verde was named among Fast Company’s 2020 list of the World’s Most Innovative Companies, selected for Cleantech Group’s 50 to Watch list for innovating climate solutions. In 2021, awards include B Corporation’s ‘Best for the World’ for our globally superior verified environmental performance.
